Mary Cassatt will be joining us for lunch. Join us for a Fun Afternoon including a sit down luncheon in our new gallery at 416 W. Main Street. Jennifer Vaughn will be portraying Mary Cassatt (1844-1926)in this living art history lesson. Mary Cassatt, an American Impressionist painter, is celebrated for her intimate portrayals of mothers and children, capturing the nuances of maternal bonds with remarkable sensitivity. Her innovative use of color and light helped redefine the role of women in art during the late 19th century. Jennifer is a former art history teacher- feel free to come prepared with questions to see if you can stump her!
