In Waynesboro, Virginia, Fall is taken seriously. Like, really seriously. You can dress up and have some wholesome fun trick-or-treating Downtown with the fam, or voluntarily scare yourself out of your gourd in a legitimate haunted mill. You can dress up the entire month of October (I will never not share the photo I took of dinosaurs walking in Downtown Waynesboro on a random weekday a couple of years ago. Photo evidence below.), visit a different pumpkin patch every weekend, and it’s probably already cool enough to wear your long-awaited boots and flannels (not on the particular day I’m writing this, but soon, I’m sure)! If you can’t find a way to celebrate the Halloween season in Waynesboro, you’re definitely not trying hard enough. Here’s the guide for the young, the old, and the undead.👻
