Fuel up for the day with coffee and pastries from the French Press, head across the street to get rid of some rage at The Havoc House. Skip the sauna and let off some steam with your group by smashing all kinds of things like TVs, bottles, and microwaves. Not feeling the rage? Try your hand at axe throwing in their axe room!
Now that you're nice and relaxed, hit the Street Arts Trail. With about a dozen stops within easy walking distance Downtown, you can spend the afternoon solving scavenger hunt style questions along the way while getting information about the artists and their work. Wrap up the downtown portion of the Trail with lunch at Delly Up. Perfect for a group, Delly up has awesome delicatessen style food and plenty of unique craft beer options for there or to go!
Hop in the car and pick back up on the Street Arts Trail for a few more stops on Commerce Ave. but save stops 19 and 20 for later. Next, head up the mountain to the Blue Ridge Tunnel Trail. Start at the western trailhead for a challenging hike to the tunnel, or head over to the eastern trailhead for an easy, accessible stroll to the tunnel entrance. The tunnel isn't lit, so be sure to bring a flashlight!
After you've finished with your walk through the tunnel, come back down the mountain to Blue Ridge Bucha to enjoy a tasting flight or kombucha by the glass at the first full-service kombucha taproom in the state of Virginia.
