Looking for a very unique gift this year? Try the Love Note Book! This book form utilizes the Coptic style binding to create a bundle of letters as a gift for a chosen recipient.
With a little forethought, this book could allow you to create the gift of correspondence in advance. Each day could be a new letter! Or, it could document memories gone by, ready to be revisited. Fill the envelope “pages” as you see fit! This book allows you give thoughtful correspondence on the dates of your choice, so it is a gift that gives for as many pages as you want to bind into the book. In this class, 7 envelope “pages” make up a week’s worth of correspondence. Even after all the correspondences are opened, the book keeps all your notes bound together for your recipient to reminisce as often as they like. Students will create a book and go over ideas on creative ways to fill the book with messages and treats to delight the heart.

Materials and tools: Most materials provided w/tools available for in-class use.
Students will need to bring sheets of decorative paper for their book covers. They need at least 2 sheets of decorative paper for the front covers measuring 8.5” x 11” each and 2 sheets of decorative paper for the inner covers measuring 6” x 8” at least. Also, students should bring an apron or clothing appropriate for a studio environment.
