This oil painting class welcomes both absolute beginners as well as those looking to hone their skills or tackle a new subject. We’ll review the basics of paint handling, color mixing, composition layout, and walk through the process of building up color to create form. Students will arrange their own bouquet to paint from and take home along with their finished paintings.
Materials List:
* Oil brushes sizes 2, 4, 12 or similar in flat or round
* 1 canvas ranging from size 12″ x16″ to 16″ x24″

* Oil paints in full range of colors
* Thinning medium
* Easels
* Still Life set up including selection of vases, flowers and greenery
