Blue Ridge Packs and Tracks is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making outdoor recreation accessible to individuals with disabilities. Through its free track chair program, the organization provides all-terrain mobility devices that allow users to explore rugged trails. This includes portions of the scenic Blue Ridge Tunnel—without limitation.

With support from trained volunteers, Blue Ridge Packs and Tracks ensures a safe, empowering experience for participants as they enjoy the healing and restorative power of nature. Their work expands access to some of the region’s most beloved public spaces, including the Rockfish Valley and Shenandoah Valley, by removing physical barriers and promoting inclusivity.

Chairs can be reserved in advance through their website. This program is offered at no cost thanks to the generous support of donors and volunteers.
