The Spirits of Metal was created by Ariana Tressle-Orner for the Virginia Institute of Blacksmithing in 2025.
The Virginia Institute of Blacksmithing was founded to offer instruction in blacksmithing and is certified to operate by the State Council for Higher Education. They also offer weekend blacksmithing classes for all skill levels.
