**Art Exhibit: “Paintings from the Unseen” by Valerie Sargent**
Simultaneously, don’t miss the art exhibit featuring works by local artist Valerie Sargent, running from August 24, 2026, to November 15, 2026, at the Wayne Theatre’s exhibit gallery. The opening reception will take place on August 24 at 5:00 PM. Sargent’s abstract paintings explore themes of movement, emotion, and the unseen aspects of human experience. Her work invites viewers to connect with their own stories and encourages reflection through intuitive and dynamic artistic expression.

These events offer a unique opportunity to engage with both historical and modern art, bringing together the community to celebrate talent and heritage. For more information, visit the Waynesboro Heritage Foundation and Wayne Theatre websites.
