Celebrate 100 years of the Wayne Theatre with “On With The Show: A Century of the Wayne Theatre in Waynesboro, Va.” at the Waynesboro Heritage Museum! Explore the theatre’s history – from vaudeville and early movies to its restoration – and its lasting role in our community.
The exhibit opens Saturday, October 10, at 10 a.m and will remain on display until June 5, 2027. Admission is free!

Join us Sunday, November 22, for a special celebration:
• Noon–3 p.m.: Exhibit viewing at the museum
• 3:30–5 p.m.: Silent movie screening at the Wayne Theatre
• 5:30 p.m.: Reception at The Russell
Reception attendees are encouraged to bring a canned food item for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank – a nod to the Wayne’s admission tradition in 1946.
