Playing host to the annual Virginia Street Arts Festival, Waynesboro has invited artists to turn several buildings into works of art. To view the murals, start next to the Wayne Theatre. ‘Poochie’ was painted by Nils Westergard. For a fun bonus, see if you can find the life-sized ducks stenciled around the downtown! Don’t forget to stop at Basic City Beer Co., just a mile from downtown, for additional murals. While you’re on your way there look over to see ‘Kaiya with Tulips’ on the old ice factory. Kaiya was also painted by Nils Westergard and named the number-one mural in the world by the online magazine StreetArt60.
