The historic Wayne Theatre in downtown Waynesboro first opened as a vaudeville house in 1926, and most recently was renovated and reopened to the public in 2016. The Wayne Theatre hosts over 300 events each year, including live musical groups, Broadway plays, arts education for children, classic films, and lectures on science and history topics.
